These terms govern your use of pakqr.app ("PakBank QR", "we", "us"). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use PakBank QR.
1. What PakBank QR is
PakBank QR is a software tool that creates payment QR codes in the SBP Raast / EMVCo format from bank or wallet details you provide. It also offers a QR decoder, printable templates, a workspace for saved items and backup export and import.
PakBank QR is not a bank, an electronic money institution, a payment system operator or a payment service provider. We do not receive, hold, process, transfer or settle funds. When someone scans your code, their own bank or wallet app carries out the payment. PakBank QR is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the State Bank of Pakistan, 1LINK or any bank or wallet.
2. Who may use PakBank QR
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of Pakistan. If you use PakBank QR for a business, you confirm you are allowed to act for it.
3. Your responsibilities
- Enter your account title, bank and IBAN accurately. A QR code only carries what you typed in.
- Check the account title and a small test payment in your banking app before you print or share a code widely.
- Check IBAN-related details again whenever your account changes, and replace outdated codes.
- Use PakBank QR only for lawful purposes and only with accounts you own or are authorised to use.
- Keep your own backups. You are responsible for your browser data and backup files.
IBAN checksum validation catches typing mistakes. It does not confirm that an account exists, is active or belongs to you.
4. Your account
If you sign in, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at contact@pakqr.app if you think someone else has accessed it. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use PakBank QR to deceive anyone, impersonate a person or business, or collect money you are not entitled to;
- create codes for accounts you do not own or are not authorised to use;
- use bank or wallet names and logos in a way that suggests the bank or wallet endorses you or PakBank QR;
- upload or enter unlawful content, malware or anything meant to damage or overload the website;
- scrape, copy or reverse engineer the website or its templates beyond what the law allows, or bypass limits or security measures;
- resell PakBank QR templates as your own product.
6. The QR decoder
The decoder shows what is written inside a QR code. We do not verify that the information is genuine or that the account belongs to the name shown. Scams that swap or fake QR codes exist, so check the account title in your banking app before you confirm any payment. We are not responsible for payments you make based on a code you scanned or decoded.
7. Templates, logos and your content
You keep ownership of the account details, names, logos and other content you add. You promise you have the right to use them, and you give us permission to process them only to provide PakBank QR to you.
PakBank QR's templates, designs, text, software and branding belong to us or our licensors. You may use the templates you download to print and display payment codes for your own business or personal use. Some templates or export options may be limited to paid plans, and some exports may carry a PakBank QR mark. Names and logos of banks and wallets belong to their owners.
8. Plans and fees
The Standard plan is free. PakBank QR does not charge any fee on payments you receive. Your bank or wallet may apply its own charges, and those are between you and them.
A paid Business plan is planned but not yet available. If we launch paid plans, the price, features and billing terms will be shown on the Pricing page before you buy, and you will be asked to accept them at that time. Features of the free plan may change, and we will give notice of significant changes.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep PakBank QR available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or remove features, templates or the whole website at any time. QR specifications and banking apps change, so we cannot guarantee that every code will be accepted by every banking app at all times.
10. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent the law allows, PakBank QR is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. This includes loss caused by incorrect account details, payments sent to the wrong account, failed or delayed transfers, fraud or scams by third parties, bank or wallet errors, or downtime.
Our total liability for any claim relating to PakBank QR is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or Rs 5,000 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of Pakistan.
12. Indemnity
You agree to cover losses, claims and reasonable costs that we suffer because you broke these terms, used PakBank QR unlawfully, or entered account details you were not entitled to use.
13. Suspension and ending
You can stop using PakBank QR at any time and can delete your saved data using the reset option in Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we must do so by law. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as 10, 11, 12 and 15, continue after access ends.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and forms part of these terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you have a complaint, email contact@pakqr.app first and give us 30 days to try to resolve it. If it is not resolved, the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we will also put a notice on the website. If you keep using PakBank QR after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
17. General
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about PakBank QR. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
